Co-leads of the eHealth-Hub for Cancer Professor Aedin Culhane and Professor Mark Lawler published a key study showcasing how a collaborative data science approach is revolutionizing cancer research across the island of Ireland. The article entitled ‘From selfish silo to collaborative culture – embracing data-enabled cancer research’ illustrated how effective sharing of data, computer code and employing digital health expertise, is required to underpin the identification of new diagnostic methods and new targeted treatments for cancer.
