Zach has recently completed a PhD in statistics at Queen's University Belfast, specialising in non‑parametric survival analysis with clinical applications. He brings extensive experience from the UK Civil Service and environmental software development, having worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Public Health England, a Data Scientist at the Department for Education, and a scientific software developer in C++ and Fortran. His expertise spans statistical modelling, R and Rcpp, efficient computation for large datasets, and the development of robust analytical and software tools.
